Follow my travels – some close to home – some far away …
I just love to travel. – The thrill of experiencing different places, discovering new things and finding all the best the world has to offer never dims. As I am now retired, I finally have the opportunity to fulfil all my travel dreams – and they are big dreams!
I aim to make my blog an entertaining read and a useful source of information and inspiration for other travellers. Travelling always brings many highlights, but is rarely without a few lowlights/pitfalls along the way. Planning itineraries is very time consuming – if I can take some of the hard work out of it for you, help you discover the highlights more easily and avoid missing out on something good, then I will be delighted. If I help you avoid any of the pitfalls I discovered along the way, then my job here is done. Even if you don’t ever visit the places I have, I hope at least you enjoy reading my stories.
