Accommodation Review
Punga Cove Resort is a really lovely complex with 19 cabins built up the hillside with good facilities including a swimming pool, hot tubs, hammocks, sea kayaks and a table tennis table.
Our large cabin was a well equipped suite with kitchen facilities if required. It is a pity we are only staying two nights here – you could easily spend longer as it is a lovely spot.
The walk up to the cabin was steep – but they have a little truck that carries your luggage. We just brought a day pack for this part of the trip and left our larger bags at the Cougar Line office at Picton, ready to collect on the return journey.
The excellent restaurant was a highlight of our trip.
We dropped off the rental car at Wellington and will pick up a car again at Picton when we leave Punga Cove Resort.
