The King Arthur Hotel Reynoldston - Accommodation Review

The King Arthur Hotel Reynoldston is the perfect base for a short break in Gower.  It is a short 10 minute drive from the glorious coastline – or you could walk from here if you chose to arrive by public transport/taxi.

The hotel has a peaceful location nestling under Cefn Bryn – the highest point on the Gower Peninsula.

The pub is popular with locals, so you might want to specify a table in the restaurant for dinner rather than the bar.

There is a garden to the front of the hotel, which is popular with locals in good weather, but there is a small, quieter garden area at the back of the hotel which is available for residents to use.

There is a varied restaurant menu with a choice of specials.  Try the panko prawns with lime mayonnaise!

The hotel has 18 bedrooms situated above the restaurant/bar or in the quieter annex, which was our choice.  There are also four holiday cottages which might make a more flexible choice if you are travelling with children.

The annex rooms had been recently redecorated when we visited (2021).  Our room (18)  had a pretty Juliette balcony looking out onto fields.
