Where to Stay in Anglesey - Accommodation Reviews
Four days in Anglesey is plenty to explore the best of what the island has to offer. We based ourselves in Beaumaris for the first 2 days and Almwch for the next 2 days, but it was easy to explore all of the coastline from those two locations. Read on for Accommodation Reviews.
Days 1 & 2 - Bishopsgate Hotel - Beaumaris
A lovely four poster bed awaits you if you choose Room 9.
Hazel is very proud of her restaurant’s long record of AA Rosettes. There are other options close by in town though if you fancy a change.
On the downside, the hotel is next to a road, which means the view from this room are a bit limited. The tiny car park is also a bit tight. Don’t arrive before the 3pm check-in time.
Days 3 & 4 - Lastra Farm Hotel - Almwch
The Lastra Farm Hotel in Almwch is wonderfully located – a short walk from the coast. Very clean, modern rooms with a newly refurbished restaurant. Lovely local sourced dishes are prepared with care and exceptionally friendly service.
The hotel is only a 20-30 minute drive from Holyhead, so we will be back later in the year on our way to our next trip. See you in Ireland!
